Too much fun today..

So we had a blast at a nature center!  There is a great play area, it was a bit
muddy, but that made it more fun!  These are just pictures from my phone,
I'll work on the ones on my camera and post them soon!!  But it was so fun
having E here, and when she left to go home, Z was a bit upset.. Poor guy!!
I had a surprise come shortly after we got home.  A beautiful flower from
a very very dear friend of mine!!  It really just made a good day even better!
It will fit in with mine perfectly!  And everytime I look at it, I will smile and think of her!  :)

Even Sunny days seem to have dark clouds these days

Today was a great day...  My little cousin came over (she is 10) last night and stayed the night. Right now I am currently eating preztles covered in chocolate...  but today we went to the Zoo!  It was fun, and I loved having E here to love on Z!  They adore each other!  Growing up I loved my cousin's so its important to me that we give them a chance to be buddies too!

It was fun and of course nana came to hang out.  So that was the sunshine!  We avoided the rain/storms while at the zoo, then got some lunch at Steak and Shake and napped at home...  The clouds.. A few weeks ago my grandma was diagnosed with breast cancer. Well the results were not good and it is in her lymph nodes so chemo is in the plan.. Keep her in your prayers... 

Finding time for myself...

What would you do with a day of whatever you wanted to do?  I painted and planted plants, flowers, veggies & herbs to make a peaceful place for me...  Of course Z and T and even chase get to enjoy it, but it was my project!

Yellow & white.. such happy cheery colors!!  And it matches the dump trucks ;)  I have few more things to add and a planted box to add, but I'm so proud of this!  If you are on IG and facebook you've seen this picture and I'm sorry for the repeat, but I am currently outside, sitting at the table looking at them now, and too lazy to get up and get my camera with other pictures! 
Here is whats in it:
Green peppers, tomoates, strawberries, butternut squash, candytuft, petunia's, shasta daisies, pepperment, thyme, meadow sage (and another type of sage), lilies, Sundail mix, kolbold blue liatris, hardy aster, birds foot trefoil, Orange symphony, new zealand brass buttons, tick seed/earlysunrise, marigolds, pincushion flower, and two plants I don't know b/c a friend gave them to me. Also I have lavendar.
Inside I have bambo, and aloe vera.

I like to drink tea in the mornings and evenings (well sometimes its wine in the evenings...)  and its so nice to have a happy place to come!  It really has been a hard winter and beginning of spring for us/me.  Getting my hands in the soil and the paint was so refreshing.. for real!  

Tomorrow I'm working out again w/ my trainer.. I need to get back into the routine...  But thought I'd share my new deck garden!!  I love it!!  And if you want to join me out here, please come ;) 

Bed time love

So we were sick, my wonderful mom and dad took Z for the day to let us rest.. which we did.  I think between T and I we slept almost the whole day.  Z got to play outside, so to a graduation party and then small group!  I'm sure all the ladies there loved him!  I know he loved the kitties!  But he got home, was asleep and since we missed him, brought him to bed with us...  But our bed doesn't mean sleep.. it means play!!  So we "went night night" over and over!  But we played for a little bit and got some Z love!  Then off to bed!  But not before momma snapped a few picture!  **don't mind my sick face!
