Love fall!

Pumpkin patch!  We went to the pumpkin patch, it was fun!  Z had a good time doing all the stuff they had there.  The little kid play area, he loved the little houses!  I think we might need to get one of these at some point.. There was also other little play things that he loved!  Then we did the corn maze, and it started to cool off quite a bit!  Z really loved the patch!  He enjoyed running around and picking out the little pumpkins.  He tried to stack them on top of each other.. lol and sat on alot of them.  It was fun!  We picked a small one and brought that home.  This month is flying by so we will need to crave them soon!

Just some night time snuggles w/ our best friend Chase.. or as Z calls him "ace"  or "acey"  He just loves him and Chase does such a great job with him...  Its pretty darn cute!  Makes me still love Chase even when I have to clean up after he poops in his pen...  We are in the process of moving Z's bed time up.  He normally goes to bed now at 8 (it was 9) and sleeps until about 7/8ish depending.  He takes one nap now a day.. normally around 1.  That last about 1 hour to 2 hours.  So I'm happy about that!!

Crazy Week!

I should say exhausting.. crazy.. emotional... good.. week.  Z was so spicy this week.  I'm not sure if it was teething, or maybe he was just tired of being around me.  But he had so many tantrums and melt downs.  I was at the end of my rope...  Lucky it was the beginning of hockey season and nana and papa were planning on taking him overnight Friday.  It was a much needed break.  T and I went on a overnight getaway.  It was nice just being a couple.  We ended up extending it to the whole weekend, so Z stayed an extra night.  So by the time this morning came around, we were ready to see our little man.  He was great at Nana's and Papa's.. which makes me think maybe the 3 weeks of pretty non stop time together (him being sick.. I didn't leave him much) was wearing on him.  Its good to step away every now and then!

I'm all recharged and ready for another week to start!  Working on homework, while the boys are watching some baseball.

On a side note, today T & I joined a gym!  I lost about 12 lbs at home just working out and eating better, so I'm thinking a gym will just help keep that going.. and they have day care.. so I can workout during the day and they'll watch Z.  So I'm pretty excited about that!

We have been busy doing lots of little activities lately since Z was sick and we needed to stay inside lot.  So I'll be post pics of those soon.

Quiet...

      It doesn't happen very often.. but right now in my house its quiet.  Z is napping finally after fighting it at the S house today.  I showered, put make up on and wearing a shirt for the first time in like 3 weeks.  I did some paper work.. and now I'm just relaxing.  Its kinda nice having some peace.  Lately the only peace I get is my bath at night.. using some AMAZING bath bombs from lush (for real if you havn't check them out.. you must go to their website..) 
     I'm also gearing up for an exciting day tomorrow.. I'm going to be getting lots of mommy time!  In the morning we have MOP (moms of preschoolers) where Z goes to the nursery and us moms do crafts hear from speakers and get fed!  for 2 hours!!  Then my best friend is going to watch him, while I go get my facial, hair cut and colored.. all for FREE!!  Yep Free!!  I was in a weight loss challenge and I won (Well I lost weight ;)  And that was the first place prize!  It was very motivating!  Then in the evening we are going out with the girls for painting and wine.  Maybe too much fun for one day... :)  But as moms I think we need days like that every so often!  Playing on Sunday w/ Daddy :)

Playing with Great Grandma

We were able to go pick up great grandma D a few weeks ago and play in the park.  It was so much fun.. Even Nana came out and played too!  Its great to see how much Z can make everyone light up and enjoy being around him!
Today we are doing the memory walk to help raise money for Alz.  I know you have all heard me talk about it, but great grandma D is suffering w/ this awful diseases.  I'm glad I am able to capture moments like these to save for Z.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

 

Forgot how exhausting sick kids are..

Z has been sick since Sunday.  It is breaking my heart in 1/2 and really slowing our week down!  We pretty much havn't done anything.  Other than our little outing to the doctor yesterday and the stop at the mall.. b/c mommy was going stir crazy!  He has been taking long naps, so then I do too.  Coughing, fever, cuddling, runny nose, sneezing-then crying.  thats been our days.  Its just a virus, but its tiring and we just have to let it run its course. 
This week we have been eatting alot of easy meals, and been relaxing a lot and spending alot of time in our pj's.  But we still have time to find some fun!  Like yesterday we played in a flour mix w/ our cars.  Messy.. but then we did a car wash in our bath tub-where the cars and the Z got washed.  I can't wait for him to be better.  As for me.. I need a shower and to do the dishes...lol

took the summer off!

So I didn't post much this summer!  Sorry about that!  Life w/ a toddle is a busy one, especially when you are building your own Mary Kay business, going to school, playing, and being a wife!  I also started babysitting a few fun kiddos too!  So, where have we been?  Playing!
Z is soo big!  Can you all believe he is 19 months now??  I can't!  He is in 2T clothes and size 5/6 shoes.  Big boy!  He has 11 teeth I think.. He is now running and climbing on everything he can get on.  He even has learned to push toys/chairs/etc towards the counter to get stuff off of it he wants.  His fav things: Toy would be anything ride toys, but especially his tractor.  Food: really everything.. I guess strawberries.  He loves playing with his cars and bath time... 

I am so blessed to be able to be at home with him.  I love that my "job" allows me to add to our family, but still raise my son.  He really brings me so much joy!  I just wanted to get on here and give alittle update about us!  Here is a quick pic selection from our summer
