Camping

We did our annual Memorial camping this past weekend.  It was very relaxing and needed!  We didn't do the normal slip and die, or a mud pit, but in a way it was nice that we didn't have that much to plan for.  We did alot of fishing, and hanging out in the creeks.  Even Z played in the creek-he really like throwing the rocks.
Not the actually place we were..
Ahhh.. campfire

There isn't much more relaxing than this view!  One night Z spent the night at grandma/grandpa's Sat night giving us a chance to fish and run bank lines without having to worry, but Sunday we got Z out.  Lots of sunscreen, umbrella, and a great idea of "planting" a tree for some shade, we didn't get sunburned!  The only issue we had was Z had a reaction to the baby sunscreen on his face.  I normally use "face"but when I was reapplying I used the normal stuff.  Then his eyes were red and watery, nose was running and his litle forehead got all bochy and red.  But after it happened, we all remember T having similar issues w/ sunscreen on his face.  Like father like son!  After a wash and a little cool off time, we were all better.
Yummy!

Relaxing in style!
It was a great weekend, Monday was a day full of just relaxing!  After cleaning up the campsite, the boys went to check the fishing stuff (we got some :) And Z and I came home, he got a bath, and I took a quick shower.. ran some laundry and that was about it.  Napping, movies and just doing nothing was pretty much how our day was spent.
Wearing ear protection.

I know I needed a little break, so it was great!  It was a bit smaller group than years before, we were missing a key person, but it was still a fun time and great hanging out with our friends... Now time to get back to work!  I have a lot of Mary Kay stuff to do this week!  Phone calls, deliveries, follow up, so much to do!  But its good to be busy busy!  :)

Both reading some books.. note all the toys everywhere?
This week has been a fun one, busy and exhausting week!  :)  Having two kids under 3 is def an experience!  Some things are easier, some more difficult and much more messy!!  Nap times is takes a little more planning, but play time is so much more fun.  We finger painted, played in the water table, played with bubbles, wagon rides, walks, went to the library, went to the CDM and watch alot of Thomas the train!  It was fun having little J here to play with us!

Even Grandpa G stopped by to play!  Playing outside is a must these days.  And speaking of outside, I'm excited to go camping for the first time this year!

15 months

This is alittle bit late, but here are the stats on Z from 15months
25.1 lbs!  Big boy!  31.5in tall, so 50% in weight and 60 in height.  He got one shot and did great with it!  Barely cried.  He of course flirted w/ all the nurses and talked to the Dr.
Z gives kisses and hugs, and loves to give high fives!

Bubbles!

Z had a blast playing with bubbles!  We've been playing outside a lately-what better way to wear him out!  This week we have had a visitor, our nephew J, so we've been having lots of fun!  School is out now!  YAY!  I got an A and a B in my classes, so I was pretty happy with that!  Z just broke his 5th tooth.  His favorite things right now are Chase, going for walks, story time, cars/trucks and fruit snacks.  He will get into our little pie safe thing and pick out the snack he wants.  Its pretty cute!  We are very excited about this summer!  I have lots of great things planned, the zoo, CDM, pool, lots of parks, camping.. Lots of good stuff!
Now that school is out, I'm really focusing on my Mary Kay.. since that is what is keeping me at home (the money I'm earning vrs getting a job outside the house) So if you'd like to have a party, please let me know :)

Boys..

Who would have thought this little cup would cause so much stress.  Pieces of it really, and a little boy who ate them.  After quite of bit of phone calls and trip to see the Dr to learn since its clear we couldn't do X-rays.. we learned we just have to wait and watch.  So I've been on Diaper Watch 2012..And Z is doing great.. No problems at all :)

Other than that we are doing good.  We put the air conditioner in Z's room last night for the first time, at first he seemed kinda scared of it, but after he got more use to it, he slept until 6:30am.  This sleeping thing is nice.  We will see how long it will last...

We are very busy this weekend, School is winding down-just about a week and a day left :)  I'm super excited about it!
All boy..

Best Buds!

Playing outside is one of our favorite things to do!  And it would be unfair to go outside without our buddy Chase.  So we try to get outside once a day, and we let Chase come too.  He is a great pup and does well staying with us.  And Z loves Chase!  We also go for walks.  My little man is getting so grown up!  I think its his big boy tennis shoes that make him look so big!  And now he is starting to get real hair!  Just wanted to share these cute pictures :)
Now until the rain stops we will be inside or at the children's museum.  Good thing he has lots of toys to keep him happy while inside!  :)
